What are we up to…

-
Integrating experiences: We are working hard to develop the technologies and improve the system’s interface and functions. The latest experiences achieved from the huge outdoor party for the festival volunteers start of May (for further information) are analyzed and discussed in order to give input for next steps.
- Continguency plan: Michael Christensen, Aarhus University, participated in planning of SmukFest 2009 continguency plan with the emergency response teams. They discussed plans for “Experiment 2009″, and Michael Christensen introduced the technologies to new faces. They are all very excited!
- Start June: Some of us are going to the beech wood with the festival coordinators in order to plan camera actions – numbers and positions. Our best guess is that we need to integrate around 30 cameras this Summer. What a challenge!!
- End of June: We are planning a tutorial workshop for the emergency response personnel who is going to use the technologies in parallel with their contingency plan
Testing time

We went to Skanderborg Saturday the 2nd of May to test some of our technologies.
SmukFest had invited the volunteers (potentially 10.00 people – 2.300 showed up) to their yearly huge outdoor party – to prepare for this Summers’ festival.
We joined the setup in order to test technoligies, in particular: Radio connections and activity indication.
It went well, and it was a great evening. So, we are prepared – all though we have a few corrections to make before August…
